Application Techniques
Surface preparation:
The bonding surface must be clean and Relatively dry.Contaminated Surfaces Should be cleaned with a 50/50 Isopropyl Alcohol and water mixture, A clean lint-free cloth Should be used.
Application: Shake well before using CNHYBOND 944 primer:
1. Apply a thin uniform coating to the bonding surface using the minimum amount thatwill fully coat the surface, allow to dry thoroughly cnhybond 944 primer before applying tape. This is accomplished Usually in 5 minutes at room temperature, the primed surface Be sure remains free from contaminants prior to applying the tape. Porous surfaces may require 2 Application of CNHYBOND 944 primer for uniform coverage and good adhesion ..
2. Allow primer to dry FirstApplication of before applying the second coat, CNHYBOND primer 944 may be applied with brush or swab, It can therefore be applied with a pressurized flow gun, knurled roller or other similar type of application equipment
