Many friends from automotive sealing strip manufacturers are always asking me why it is very hard to bond EPDM with 3M tapes, especially in cold days, do you have any solution to it. Some friends from automotive factories are also asking me why double sided tapes stick EPDM, TPO,TPU,PP is not good in auto exterior accessories like car door handle cover, the decorative strip and so on , is there any advice? Some friends from 4S store are also meeting the above problems, and asked for advice. Some customers from vehicle vinyl films told me that their customers are also looking for a product like this.

Cnhybond944 primer developed from our company is a kind of clear light brown liquid. It can be used to promote adhesion of double sided adhesive to surfaces such EPDM, TPU, PVC, polyethylene, polypropylene, ABS, PET/PBT blends, concrete, wood, glass, metal and painted metal surfaces, especially with Acrylic Foam(VHB) tapes, the bonding effect will be better.

Instruction:

1.Prepare the primer

2.Apply the primer to a clean,dry surface.

3.Allow the primer to completely dry for 5 minutes

4.Apply adhesive tapes, use isopropyl alcohol or another commercial adhesive remover to remove any remaning primer residue.

Clean up:

Cnhybond 944 primer can be removed with isopropyl alcohol,Vigorous scrubbing may be required

Shelf life

1. 12 months from date of manufacture when stored in the original container at 15-27℃

2. Keep cnhybond tape primer 944 in the original container

3. Keep original container tightly sealed to avoid solvent evaporation
