Primer 944 is designed to help adhesive Tapes stick and stay to a variety of difficult surfaces like PP,PE,ABS,EPDM, glass, concrete, metal and painted metal.It is equivalent to 3M K-520 Primer.

Primer 944 is widely applied in Chrome accessories like chrome door handle covers, chrome mirror covers, stainless steel pillar post trims,chrome headlight covers,chrome plated taillight covers, fender trims,window trims, window door sill,and body side moldings,rocker panel moldings, body side moldings, chrome mustache,headlight trims,side view mirrors, rear deck lid trim and license plate surround car,chrome fender Vents, front bumper trim, rear bumper trim,chrome gas door cover,chrome rain guards,window package trim, chrome grille accessories.

Application Techniques

Surface preparation:

The bonding surface must be relatively clean and dry.Contaminated surfaces should be cleaned with a 50/50 Isopropyl Alcohol and water mixture,A clean lint-free cloth should be used.

Application: Shake CNHYBOND 944 primer well before using:

1. Apply a thin uniform coating to the bonding surface using the minimum amount that will fully coat the surface, allow cnhybond 944 primer to dry thoroughly before applying tape. This is usually accomplished in 5 minutes at room temperature, Be sure the primed surface remains free from contaminants prior to applying the tape. Porous surfaces may require 2 application of CNHYBOND 944 primer for uniform coverage and good adhesion..

2. Allow first application of primer to dry before applying the second coat, CNHYBOND primer 944 may be applied with brush or swab, It can also be applied with a pressurized flow gun, knurled roller or other similar type of application equipment

Clean up:

Cnhybond 944 primer can be removed with isopropyl alcohol,Vigorous scrubbing may be required

Shelf life

1. 12 months from date of manufacture when stored in the original container at 15-27℃

2. Keep cnhybond tape primer 944 in the original container

3. Keep original container tightly sealed to avoid solvent evaporation
